Damien Gilmore is an experienced finance and risk management professional with a robust background in strategic assurance and control. Currently serving as the Head of Risk, Strategic Assurance & Control for People & Transformation at NatWest Group since October 2020, Damien previously held multiple leadership roles at RBS, including Senior Manager and Planning Transformation Project Manager. Damien's expertise also includes offshore project management, financial planning and analysis, and regulatory reporting, having led a team of qualified accountants at Royal Bank of Scotland. Additional experience in credit risk assessment at Barclays and private equity fund investments at HBOS further complements Damien's extensive skill set. Damien holds a BACC in Accountancy from the University of Dundee.
