Shruti Shukla is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental policy and energy advocacy, currently serving as a Senior Advocate and International Energy Advocate at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since October 2021, focusing on global decarbonization initiatives. Prior experience includes a significant role as Director of Policy and Projects at the Global Wind Energy Council from October 2010 to April 2018, where Shruti developed and implemented policy research agendas and ensured effective communication regarding various projects. Additional roles encompass serving as Coordinator for the Southern Capacity Building Programme at Climate Action Network, as well as positions with WWF in energy and climate policy. Shruti holds an M.Sc in Environmental Policy, Planning and Regulation from The London School of Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Business Economics from Delhi University.
