Lizzy Kaval currently serves as the Equity Alignment & Implementation Manager and previously held the roles of Equity & Integration Liaison and Executive Assistant to the President at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since December 2014. Prior to NRDC, Lizzy worked at Asphalt Green as an Administrative Assistant to the COO from February 2011 to December 2014 and completed internships at the County of Rockland and Center For Safety & Change. Lizzy holds a Master’s Degree in Gender & Sexuality Studies from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, obtained between 2013 and 2016, and a B.A. in Arts, with a concentration in Sociology/Anthropology and Gender & Women’s Studies from Pace University, completed in 2009.
