Audrey Gaughran is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human rights and governance. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Balanced Economy Project and Digital Freedom Fund, as well as Chair of the Advisory Council for the Natural Resource Governance Institute, Audrey has a strong background in overseeing governance initiatives in resource-rich nations. From 2003 to 2017, Audrey held various leadership roles at Amnesty International, including Director of Global Issues and Research, where significant programs were established in corporate accountability and human rights. Audrey's previous positions include Executive Director at SOMO and Senior Director for Regional Programs at the Natural Resource Governance Institute. Audrey's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in Human Rights and Environmental Decision Making, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Certificate in Journalism.
