Stephen Stukins

Senior Curator Of Micropalaeontology/palynologist at Natural History Museum

Stephen Stukins currently serves as the Senior Curator of Micropalaeontology and Museum Scientist/Palynologist at the Natural History Museum since January 2012. In this role, Stephen collaborates with stakeholders to enhance the utilization of the museum's micropalaeontology collections, including significant contributions to the IPC larger benthic foraminifera collection and the John Williams Index of Palaeopalynology. Prior to this position, Stephen held the role of Stratigrapher at PetroStrat Ltd, contributing to integrated studies of the North Sea Jurassic and Cretaceous regions of West Africa. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Palynology and Sedimentology from the University of Aberdeen, an MSc in Micropalaeontology from UCL, and a BSc in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds.
