Scott Lewis is a highly experienced consulting actuary with a diverse background in risk management and actuarial services. Currently serving as an Independent Consultant and Commissioner at Toka TÅ« Ake EQC, Scott has held significant positions such as Head of Actuarial at Oranga Tamariki and Head of Insurance Risk & Reinsurance at IAG New Zealand. Scott's expertise also includes contributions to the Christchurch earthquakes response while at Lumley Insurance, and leadership roles at Vero Insurance and Royal & Sun Alliance, across various regions including New Zealand and the Americas. Scott's career spans over three decades, beginning as an Actuarial Analyst at TOWER, with a solid foundation in education from Kawerau College and Feilding High School.
