Deborah Gilley has extensive experience in education, particularly in history and English learner services. Currently serving as an ELD Teacher on Special Assignment at Natomas Unified School District since August 2018, Deborah supports K-12 English learner services and provides professional development for ELD teachers. Previously, Deborah worked as a History Teacher at Natomas Unified School District, teaching AP Government and US History, and held similar roles at Long Beach Unified School District, where duties included teaching 7th Grade Medieval World History and participating in various academic and community initiatives. Additional teaching experience includes a position at Los Angeles Unified School District and a student teaching role at California State University, Long Beach, where Deborah earned a Single Subject Credential in Social Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
