If you are ready to actively contribute to the growth of a Global consumer Brand, Native Union is looking for an energetic and dynamic Director of Operations & System to lead and optimize our operational functions, ensuring seamless integration across Sales Operations, Logistics, Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, and System & IT.

This leadership role is pivotal in driving efficiency, enhancing technology integration, and scaling operations to meet the dynamic demands of our business.

The role and its scope

Team Leadership:

• Work closely with the CEO to align the operations with the company’s strategic vision and objectives
• Build and mentor a high-performing operations team (8-10 people) based in Hong Kong.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Demand & Supply, Procurement, Logistics, Sales Operation, and System & Technology to streamline processes, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs.

Operational Strategy: ��

• Streamline and enhance operations through effective process management and integration of best practices.
• Ensure consistent and reliable supply chain performance, focusing on delivery, cost, and quality of service.
• Evaluate and implement robust operational systems and processes, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
• Identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Monitor key performance indicators across departments, ensuring consistent achievement of targets and objectives.

Oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, including Demand&Supply, Procurement, Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory management and Sales Operations, ensuring seamless operations and high service levels.

Demand & Supply Planning

• Lead the team of Demand & Supply Planning

• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, purchasing proposal and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and meet customer demand efficiently.

• Collaborate with manufacturing partners and customers to optimize production, logistics and improve supply chain resilience.

• Collaborate with the commercial team to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into demand forecasts.

Vendor Management & Procurement

• Optimize procurement strategy to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing and tariff and duties mitigations (China, Vietnam, Southeast Asia)
• Direct procurement activities, ensuring best practices in supplier selection, manufacturing agreements, cost negotiation, and volume incentive rebates.
• Manage vendor relationships and performance (on time / on cost / on quality)

Logistics Operations Management

• Lead the team of Logistics Operations
• Develop and implement strategies for logistics activities a fast, efficient and cost-effective Go To Market.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals to enhance their skills, initiatives and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement to our global warehouse & fulfillment strategy and processes (CN ; HK ; EU ; US) to enhance efficiency and reduce stock-holding risk.
• Source and collaborate with 3rd party logistics and transport companies to optimize shipment operations.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with applicable regulations, managing risks effectively to safeguard company interests (including Dangerous Goods’ transportation management)
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline the product return process, reducing processing time and costs while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid service disruptions in the supply chain.
• Analyze logistics data and conduct regular reviews to assess performance and implement continuous improvements.

Sales Operations & Support ��

• Lead the Sales Operation Team in HK : enhance the sales operations through effective process improvements (and automation) to support the commercial team.
• Analyze sales and inventory data of customers to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and support sales strategies.

Technology & System Management ��

• Manage the Technology & System team in Hong Kong, and oversee technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Champion ERP Optimization and Integration, leading continuous improvements to our ERP system to maximize automation, ensuring that all departments experience seamless, unified processes that elevate productivity.Leverage logistics technology and software solutions to improve operational efficiency and keep pace with industry advancements.
• Align Systems with Strategic Goals, guaranteeing that all technologies support business objectives and enable smooth, scalable operations, laying a robust foundation for future growth.

• Drive Strategic Financial Planning by developing and managing comprehensive budgets across operations, including open-to-buy, logistics, storage, and IT/IS, ensuring resources are optimally allocated to support business growth.

• Oversee Real-Time Expense Monitoring to maintain alignment with financial objectives, proactively identifying and capitalizing on cost-saving opportunities to boost profitability without compromising quality or efficiency.

In this role, you will need

• Ability to manage a high volume of data from different sources and in different formats.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (fluency in English) with internal and external parties.

What you’ll bring to us

• Proven experience (8-10+ years) in operations management.
• Degree or above in Business Administration / Operations Management / Logistics / Supply Chain / or other relevant qualifications
• Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, procurement, and IT systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
