Scott Hawthorn is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience across multiple industries. As the Executive Chair and Co-Founder of Native Shoes since August 2009, Scott has been instrumental in shaping the company. In addition to this role, Scott served as the Co-Founder and CEO of Native Shoes. Scott's experience also includes directing and mentoring an incubator space at parking spot from January 2004 to December 2019, and co-owning salt tasting room from January 2006 to December 2016. From February 2009 to April 2018, Scott was engaged as a gentleman farmer at picker shack orchards, and held the position of race chair for Tour de Gastown from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in their career, Scott worked as an Equity Derivatives Trader at BNP Paribas from 1992 to 2001, managing a proprietary single stock option trading portfolio and facilitating structured client products in the Japanese stock markets. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University.
