Stephen Byrne is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Lines Solutions at Nationwide Insurance since May 2012. In this role, Stephen leads a team of over 300 and manages a budget of $53 million to oversee platforms for Nationwide's Commercial Lines and Agriculture businesses, emphasizing Lean and Agile practices. Previously, as Associate Vice President for Commercial Lines Transformation, Stephen directed a $400 million program focused on enhancing commercial platforms. Prior experience includes roles at Harleysville Insurance, where Stephen was Vice President of Agency and Field Automation, and at Penn Mutual Life Insurance as Director of Enterprise Architecture. Stephen's career began at Lockheed Martin as a Software Developer. Stephen holds a BS in Computer Science from Villanova University and completed further education at The Wharton School in 2011.
