Kirsten Charlton is a seasoned executive in the insurance and operations sectors, currently serving as the VP Operations and Transformation for Middle Market at Nationwide since June 2024. In this role, Kirsten leads business strategy, operational projects, and portfolio planning within Middle Market Commercial Lines. Kirsten also contributes as a mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab in Wisconsin, guiding early-stage startups in risk and insurance. Previously, Kirsten held various leadership positions, including Chief Global Business Services & Innovation Officer at Argo Group and VP of Operations at CNA Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed operational excellence, service delivery, and strategic business transformation. Kirsten's extensive experience in management consulting and operations is underpinned by a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
