Silvia (Batezati) Carrau, MD, MS, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, starting in October 2023. Previously, Silvia held multiple roles at The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology, including Graduate Student, Graduate Teaching Associate, Director of Dr. Ziouzenkova's Research Lab, and Teaching Assistant for the HUMN NTR 2210 course from August 2021 to October 2023. Silvia's earlier experience includes work as a Research Associate at the Former House Ear Institute, focusing on auditory development, and as a Research Principal at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in fMRI and statistical analyses. Silvia earned an MD from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná and completed a PhD in fMRI related to tinnitus at Universidade de São Paulo, among other qualifications in otolaryngology and nutrition.
