Jean Ma is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at the National Quality Forum since January 2008, Jean Ma is responsible for the semi-monthly payroll of over 125 employees, training new hires, and overseeing various financial tasks including cash management and general ledger reconciliation. Previous roles include Corporate Staff Accountant at Sevatec, Inc., where Jean Ma managed payroll and full-cycle accounts payable for a sizable workforce, as well as Staff Accountant at Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC, where responsibilities included generating billing reports for significant government contracts. Jean Ma began a career in retail, retiring as a Sales and Support Supervisor at JCPenney after more than two decades. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Accounting, Jean Ma possesses a robust skill set in financial analysis and reporting.
