Jeanine Stam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and policy advisory roles, currently serving as a Senior Onderzoeker Strategie en Onderzoek at Nationale ombudsman since July 2023. Prior to this position, Jeanine held the role of Senior Beleidsadviseur Bestuurlijke besluitvorming and Programmamanager at Gemeente Rotterdam from January 2022 to June 2023. With a solid background at De Nationale ombudsman from 1997 to 2022, Jeanine progressed from various research positions including Senior Onderzoeker/Projectleider Grootschalig Onderzoek to specialized researcher roles focusing on Caribbean Netherlands and youth sectors. Additional experience includes serving as an Onderzoeker at de Kinderombudsman and a Beleidsmedewerker at Gemeente Rotterdam. Jeanine holds a Master’s degree in Criminologie and a Doctoraal in Strafrecht from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
