Previous positions include serving as an integrity advisor at Ministerie van Defensie, advisor for complaint procedures at Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken, and directiesecretaris/kwaliteitsmanager at Ministerie van BZK. Earlier roles involved providing social legal assistance in Den Haag, managing legal and project operations at Legalsource, overseeing a team of 35 as senior fieldmanager at Brunel, and serving as jurist and auditor at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Ernst Verhaar holds a master's degree in Dutch law, focused on Economic Public and Business Law from Utrecht University and has completed additional educational programs at Merlijn Groep and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
