Jennifer Young is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in curriculum development, program management, and historical research. Currently serving as the Education Programs Manager and Contract Educator at the National Yiddish Book Center since 2021, Jennifer writes curriculum and co-facilitates discussions for the Great Jewish Books Book Club while conducting research for an upcoming permanent exhibit. Previous roles include a professional ghostwriter at StoryTerrace, where Jennifer crafted life history narratives, and as a Walking Tour Developer and Leader for Context Travel, creating engaging cultural experiences. Jennifer's background also includes educating citizenship courses at the New-York Historical Society and overseeing educational programs at the YIVO Institute, along with facilitating tours at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in American History from New York University, a Master's in Museum Education from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from McGill University.
