Jake Krakovsky is a versatile puppeteer, teaching artist, and oral historian currently serving as a Wexler Oral History Project Field Fellow at the National Yiddish Book Center. With extensive experience in puppetry across various styles and productions, including work with the Center for Puppetry Arts and Bento Box Entertainment LLC, Krakovsky has also contributed to educational initiatives, teaching courses on Yiddish language and culture at Emory University. Previous roles include a bilingual indexing contractor for the Wexler Oral History Project and a director, screenplay adaptor, and dramaturg for Theater Emory. Krakovsky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies from Emory University and has participated in programs at the Accademia Dell'Arte and The Westminster Schools.
