Charles Hernick serves as the Head of Sustainability Disclosures Policy at Amazon since October 2022 and is a Board Member for the National Wildlife Federation's Action Fund and the Maryland League of Conservation Voters from January 2024 and October 2023, respectively. Prior roles include Vice President and Director of Policy and Advocacy at CRES Forum, where significant advancements in clean energy policy and national advocacy campaigns were spearheaded, and Senior Associate at The Cadmus Group, Inc., where Hernick played a pivotal role in expanding the consulting practice and managing large-scale environmental assessments. Hernick also gained political experience as the Republican candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia's 8th District in 2016.
