Marc Morial is the President and CEO of the National Urban League, a position held since 2003, where they have driven significant fundraising and strategic initiatives to empower urban communities. Previously, Morial served as the Mayor of New Orleans, noted for leading a citywide renaissance and achieving a 70% approval rating at the end of their tenure. They were also a Louisiana State Senator, recognized for their legislative accomplishments and innovative policy authorship. Morial's early career includes founding a law firm and serving as a Managing Partner, as well as being a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. Currently, Morial is pursuing a Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center.
