Darragh Mullins possesses extensive experience in academia and research within the fields of electrical and electronic engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Officer, Adjunct Lecturer, Research Fellow, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Galway since June 2013, Darragh has also contributed as a part-time lecturer focusing on Electrical Circuits and Systems and Electromechanical Power Conversion. Prior to this, Darragh engaged in PhD research on the applications of image processing for the performance assessment of wastewater treatment plants. Darragh's earlier professional experience includes an internship at ESB International, where standards for control and protection technology in substations were developed. Darragh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Systems from the University of Galway.
