Scott Lively is an experienced professional in government affairs and broadband advocacy, currently serving as a Broadband Program Specialist at the US Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration since June 2022. Previously, Scott held the position of Senior Director of Government Affairs and Grassroots Advocacy at NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association from January 2011 to June 2022, and served as Director of Government Affairs at the same organization. Additionally, Scott worked as Legislative Director & Counsel for the US Congress from March 2006 to December 2010, and was an Associate at Thompson & Knight LLP from September 2004 to February 2006. Scott holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center (2004) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University (2001).
