Dr. Jennifer King is a prominent expert in privacy and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) since April 2024, while on leave from the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), where Dr. King has held the position of Privacy and Data Policy Fellow since January 2021. With extensive experience as an expert witness and litigation consultant since 2010, Dr. King has also held significant roles such as Director of Consumer Privacy at Stanford University Center for Internet and Society from April 2018 to December 2020, and Co-Director of the Center for Technology, Society & Policy at UC Berkeley during the 2016-2017 academic year. Dr. King's academic background includes a PhD in Information Science from UC Berkeley, with notable earlier roles at institutions like Yahoo! and several academic research positions at UC Berkeley.
