Steven Leath is a board member at the National Science Foundation. Steven has also worked as a senior application security engineer at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, a lead application security engineer at Northwestern Mutual, and a sr. software security developer at Pentegra Retirement Services. At Pentegra, they were responsible for redesigning legacy WCF Services and Web Services for a centralized series of WebAPI 2 endpoints. Steven also created secure programming practices for developers and managed security for all applications and websites to meet NIST Identity Management standards.
Steven Leath has a Master of Science in Cyber security from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Steven also has a Bachelors Science in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University. In addition, they have certification from ICCP in ISA-Practitioner and certification from Amazon Web Services in AWS Certified Developer.
