Yvonne Moody serves as President and Executive Director of the Terry Foundation, the largest private source of scholarship funds for public higher education in Texas. She was selected to fill the newly created role of Executive Director in 2012, following the passing of founders Howard & Nancy Terry, after having served on the foundation’s Board of Directors since 2000. The Terry Foundation provides last dollar, comprehensive funding for students at 13 universities in Texas and selects students based on the criteria of academic excellence, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need.

Yvonne was one of the first recipients of the Terry Foundation Scholarship in 1987 and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. She started her professional career with Chevron in Houston as a Retail Construction Project Manager. Her personal interests include volunteering and serving on leadership teams for a variety of church, school, and civic organizations.
