Mernout Burger is an experienced professional in the fields of product ownership, functional expertise, and software design, currently serving as a Product Owner at the Nationaal Dataportaal Wegverkeer since July 2023. Previously, Mernout spent a decade at TBA Group, where roles included Product Owner for various modules and a Lead Developer focused on automation and optimization of container terminal operations. Mernout also contributed as a Software Designer for the Netherlands Forensic Institute and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at both the Delft University of Technology and NTNU. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU and an MSc in Control Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
