Marc Metrick

Marc Metrick has over 25 years of experience in the auditing and consulting industry. Marc began their career with the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) in 1995 and held various positions throughout their 14-year tenure, ultimately serving as Director of Audit & Consulting Services. In this role, they oversaw the operations of an audit department responsible for determining compliance of affiliated client companiesā€™ contractual agreements, including their operational performance, policies, procedures and controls, and financial transactions reported.

In 2009, Marc left NCCI to start their own consulting firm, Marc Metrick Consulting. As a consultant, they provided contracted premium audit services and completed tax returns as part of the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. Marc also served as Treasurer on their HOA's Board of Directors. In 2010, they took a brief hiatus from their firm to work for the City of Fort Lauderdale as a Financial Management Analyst in the Grants and Legislative Affairs Department.

In 2011, Marc rejoined the corporate world when they were hired as President of Saks Fifth Avenue by the National Retail Federation. In this role, they are responsible for the overall management and performance of Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide.

Marc Metrick has a Masters in Accounting from the University of Miami, a Certificate in Accounting from the University of Miami, and a Bachelors in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. Marc also has certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in CFE and from Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA).

Marc Metrick reports to Matthew R. Shay, President & CEO, National Retail Federation. They are on a team with Martine Reardon - EVP of Content & Membership & Chief Marketing Officer, Patrice Louvet - President and CEO, Ralpha Lauren Corporation, and Christopher Baldwin - Managing Partner, CVC Advisors.
