Kelly MacGregor is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in community engagement and crisis communication. Currently serving as the Communications and Community Engagement Project Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since September 2021, Kelly previously held key roles including Communications Manager at SCL Health during the COVID-19 pandemic and Communications and Community Engagement Specialist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where crisis communications and media strategy for environmental issues were primary responsibilities. Additional experience includes emergency communications coordination with the American Red Cross, writing and editing for various online platforms, and managing editorial content for the Colorado Engineer magazine. Kelly's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
