Arup Mondal is a graduate student at the University of Florida, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Chemistry since August 2018. Arup Mondal's research focuses on protein folding and protein-peptide binding. In addition to academic pursuits, Arup Mondal has gained practical experience as a Summer Intern at OpenEye and Cadence Molecular Sciences since May 2023, and previously interned at OpenEye Scientific from May 2022 to August 2022, where work involved scientific software development and studies on the shape and electrostatics of proteins. Prior to this, Arup Mondal earned a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, completing the program in May 2018.
