Alisa Parenti currently serves as Treasurer and Secretary of the Board of Governors at the National Press Club since January 2023. Parenti has been a Breaking News Editor at Bloomberg News since January 2015, specializing in tracking market-moving news from Washington, DC. Additionally, Parenti has a background in broadcasting, having worked as an Anchor/Editor for various news outlets, including WBBM in Chicago, WWJ in Detroit, and WINS in New York City, as well as anchoring 'First Word' newscasts on Bloomberg Television. Prior experience includes directing the Medill Mentors Program, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies, and anchoring news at MarketWatch Radio Network. Parenti began a career in journalism at WJLA-TV as a reporter and has held reporting roles at WIXT-TV and WTVH-5 in Syracuse, NY.
