Heather Powell has extensive experience in leadership roles within the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) since May 2012, where responsibilities have included overseeing team strategies in the Environmental Measurement Group as Head of Partnerships Operations, Head Of Strategy Operations, and Head of Energy and Environment. Prior to NPL, Heather Powell served as Regional Operations Manager at the Forensic Science Service, managing operational teams across multiple sites to ensure effective service delivery. Heather Powell holds an MSc in Forensic Science from King's College London and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Aberystwyth University.
