Greg M. has over 25 years of work experience in various research roles. Greg started their career as a Research Scientist at Natural Resources Canada/Materials Technology Lab in 1994, where they worked for six years. Greg then moved on to Fibics Inc., where they worked as a Research Scientist for four years. In 2004, they joined Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School as an Assistant Director for the National Resource for Imaging Mass Spectrometry. After four years, they transitioned to Boston College as the Nanofabrication Cleanroom Manager and later became the Electron Microscopy Facilities Manager. In 2015, they joined The University of Manchester as a Senior Experimental Officer, specializing in NanoSIMS and Electron Microscopy. Currently, Greg is working as a Principal Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, a position they have held since 2018.
Greg M. completed their education in chronological order. Greg obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Queen's University in 1985. Greg then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field at Queen's University from 1985 to 1988. Later, Greg earned a Doctorate (Dr. (Ing).) in Materials Science from Universitaet des Saarlandes between 1990 and 1994.
