Megan Striegel-Thomas serves as the Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the National Pest Management Association since May 2024, following a role as Government Affairs and Grassroots Engagement Manager at RISE from January 2021 to April 2024. At RISE, responsibilities included enhancing advocacy at various governmental levels and overseeing the Grassroots Network. Previous experience includes working as a Special Advisor and Special Assistant at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, an intern at the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, and roles at organizations such as the National Pork Producers Council and Iowa Farm Bureau. Megan is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at George Mason University and holds a degree in Agriculture and Life Sciences Education with a communication focus from Iowa State University.
