Michael Roman Ph.D. MPH, MA is an accomplished academic and volunteer with extensive experience in higher education and community engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member for the National Peace Corps Association and an Academic Advisor at the University of Cincinnati, Michael provides guidance to students on degree requirements and course registration. With a background in teaching cultural anthropology, Michael has instructed undergraduate courses exploring human beliefs and practices, alongside previous roles at the University of Pittsburgh and Millennium Challenge Corporation. A Fulbright Scholar with research expertise in trans-national identity in Pacific Island communities, Michael holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
