Nicole Melaku is an experienced executive leader in immigrant advocacy and community development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the National Partnership for New Americans since June 2020, Melaku previously held the role of Executive Director at the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, where significant programming development and voter outreach efforts were made. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Director at the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado, focusing on grant-making and community leadership initiatives, and as Director of Programs and Administration at the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, where Melaku led successful naturalization efforts. Melaku began a career in communications and development with Rights for All People and has a background in network provisioning from MCI. Educational credentials include studies at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Guadalajara.
