Ron Sundergill has extensive experience in environmental conservation and leadership roles. Ron served as the Senior Director for the Pacific Region Office at the National Parks Conservation Association from November 2005. Additionally, they were a CEO at the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy from 2003 to 2005. Ron also served as the Acting Director at the Sonoma County Conservation Action in 2003. Ron was a Board Member at Restore Hetch Hetchy from 2011 to 2014. Ron's career includes positions at various organizations, including the Union of Concerned Scientists as a Washington Representative for Energy from 1998 to 2002 and as a Consultant at Clean Water Action in 2001. Ron was a Former Board Member at the Maryland League of Conservation Voters from 1995 to 2001. Before that, Ron served as the President of the Board of County Commissioners at the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners in Frederick County, MD from January 1990 to December 1994.
Ron Sundergill attended Governor Thomas Johnson from 1967 to 1971. Afterward, they transferred to St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1971 and was present there for two years before ultimately transferring to Hood College, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from 1973 to 1976.
