Jimi Shaughnessy serves as the Veterans Program Manager at the National Parks Conservation Association, focusing on advocating for equitable access to national parks and expanding the representation of diverse American experiences. Concurrently, Jimi holds the position of Operations Manager at Purepost, Inc., a veteran-owned public benefits corporation dedicated to assisting veterans in transitioning to civilian life. Previously, Jimi was involved with The Mission Continues in various capacities, including Program Manager for the Service Leadership Corps, where responsibilities included team leadership, program strategy, and partnership cultivation. Jimi's experience includes roles as a City Impact Manager, Fellow, Crew Lead, Teaching Assistant, Forestry Technician, and Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Jimi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, and Environmental Sciences from Hunter College and is pursuing a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at The George Washington University.
