Omkar Satpathi is currently serving as a Winter Vocational Trainee at the National Metallurgical Laboratory, focusing on the corrosion behavior of Zn-Al coated rail steels since December 2023. Omkar has held the position of President and Member at ISHRAE since September 2022. During the summer of 2023, Omkar completed vocational training at Uranium Corporation of India Ltd. Omkar is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT, expected to graduate in April 2025, and previously earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from KIIT Polytechnic. Early education includes a Senior Secondary degree from Atomic Energy Central School and a Secondary degree from the same institution.
