Chaim Meir Neria

Curator Of The Judaica Collection At The National Library Of Israel at National Library of Israel

Chaim Meir Neria currently serves as the Curator of the Judaica collection at the National Library of Israel since February 2023. Neria's prior experience includes a role as a speechwriter and content advisor at תוכניה from September 2021 to February 2023, and as Chief Speechwriter and head of the Strategy department at the Office of the President of the State of Israel from September 2014 to September 2021. Neria also served as a lecturer at Bar Ilan University from 2013 to 2015, specializing in Oral Communications, political communication, and social media among religious groups in Israel. Before that, Neria worked as a speechwriter to the Speaker of the Knesset from April 2010 to August 2014. Neria's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Chicago, a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, along with another Master’s degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Chicago.
