Stacey Smith is an experienced Grants Management Specialist currently employed at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) since January 2025. Prior to this role, Stacey served as the Manager of Grant Compliance at FP2030, where responsibilities included developing compliance and tracking systems for a $15 million annual grant portfolio from various international and private sources. Stacey also managed a $17.5 million budget for the Colorado Department of Education as a CLSD Program Grant Manager and oversaw a $1.5 million grant portfolio for Violence Free Colorado. With a robust background in grants management, including directing a $12 million NCI grants portfolio and managing a successful event planning business, Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
