Hemant Kumar Meena is a Scientist C at the National Institute of Ocean Technology since December 2019, contributing to the establishment of LTTD Plants across six islands in the UT Lakshadweep and overseeing offshore structure projects. Prior to this role, Hemant served as an Assistant Engineer at RITES Ltd. for a brief period in 2019, focusing on highway design projects. Hemant's career began with an internship as a Summer Trainee at NBCC (India) Limited in 2016, where knowledge was gained in building construction techniques, e-tendering, and challenges faced by civil engineers. Academically, Hemant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed in 2017, following a high school education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidayalaya Karauli from 2009 to 2012.
