Hesham Younes is an experienced medical professional specializing in cardiac surgery and critical care. Currently serving as the Cardiac Surgery ICU Director and Associate Consultant at Saud Al-babtain Cardiac Centre since February 2017, Hesham Younes also holds a position as a member of the European Society of Cardiology since March 2010. Previously, Hesham Younes was the Head of Cardiac Surgery ICU and Senior Interventional Cardiologist at the National Heart Institute and worked as an Associate Consultant in a CS-ICU capacity from March 2009 to September 2021. Early career experiences include residency in cardiology at Hôpital Trousseau and in pediatric cardiac surgery ICU at Marrie Lanneloung Hospital. Educational qualifications include a degree in Medicine from Kasr Alaini - Cairo University and advanced certifications in Cardiology and Echocardiography from Université de Tours.
