Alan Lawson is a distinguished academic and consultant in research quality and integrity, currently serving as a member of the Australian Research Integrity Committee at the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Australian Research Council since 2016. With extensive experience in higher education governance, Lawson was Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research & International at the University of Queensland from 1998 to 2013, leading significant policy and structural reforms in research administration. As Emeritus Professor, Lawson has contributed to various judging panels, including the Colin Roderick Award and the Queensland Literary Awards.
