Cherie Smith is a seasoned accounting and financial management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Cherie serves as the Manager of Payroll and Disbursements at National Guardian Life Insurance Company, overseeing payroll, disbursement, and accounts payable activities while also engaging in project management. Prior to this, Cherie was the Treasury Manager at QBE North America, where responsibilities included acquisition integrations and the development of applications. As the Controller at Apex Property Management, Cherie managed accounting functions across multiple entities and ensured financial statement accuracy. Additionally, Cherie founded and led Cherie Smith, CPA (APAC), driving the business from startup to significant annual revenues while managing a team and client accounting needs. Cherie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from McNeese State University.
