Thomas "Jay" Skinner is an accomplished attorney and military legal officer with extensive experience in various legal disciplines. As the owner of the Law Offices of Thomas J. Skinner, IV, LLC since June 2008, Skinner specializes in real estate and title insurance law, civil litigation, corporate law, and estate planning. In the Alabama Army National Guard, Skinner holds multiple senior legal positions, including Staff Judge Advocate for a two-star theater sustainment command and Command Judge Advocate for various brigades. Additional leadership roles include presidency of the National Guard Association of Alabama and co-ownership of The Neutral Solution, a mediation company. Skinner’s legal career began as a partner at Lloyd, Gray and Whitehead, P.C. and as a JAG Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Skinner holds a JD from Samford University and is currently pursuing a master's degree at The United States Army War College.
