Darien Wright is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at the National Geographic Society, where they lead the organization’s financial and operational functions and serve as a key liaison to financial leadership at The Walt Disney Company. With extensive experience in financial management, Darien previously held senior roles at Brookfield Asset Management, Marriott International, and Sprint, where they built teams and implemented strategies to enhance performance. Additionally, they serve on the Board of Directors for Destination DC and are an Executive Fellow at The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Darien holds a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School.
