Filomena Frisina currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the National Gallery of Canada, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Filomena was a Former Partner at Gowling WLG from August 1986 to December 2023. Filomena served as a Board Member for Travelers Insurance Company of Canada between 2002 and 2013, during which involvement included roles such as Director, Member of the Audit Committee, and Chair of the Conduct Review Committee from 1994 to 2002. Filomena also held Board Member positions at Source Medical Corporation from 1997 to 2005, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, and at Arbor Memorial Inc. from 1997 to 2001, where responsibilities included serving as Secretary and participating in the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. Filomena completed the Directors Education Program at ICD-Rotman in March 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a degree in Arts from the University of Toronto.
