Colleen Harper, MPA, CAE, currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions Inc. since January 2023 and as the CEO & Executive Director of the Illuminating Engineering Society since March 2022. Prior roles include Executive Director at the Audio Engineering Society from January 2019 to March 2022 and Chief Operating Officer at the American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition from August 2012 to January 2019, where responsibilities encompassed strategic membership and marketing initiatives. Additional experience includes positions at ASFE/The Geoprofessional Business Association and ASHRAE, among others. Colleen holds a BA in English from William & Mary and an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University.
