Christina Borden

Director, Quality Solutions Group at National Committee for Quality Assurance

Christina Borden has a strong background in the healthcare industry. Christina began their career as an Analyst at NCQA in March 2009 and worked until January 2010. From January 2010 until November 2015, Christina served as the Policy Manager for Recognition Programs at NCQA. Christina then transitioned into the role of Assistant Director from November 2015 to June 2018. From June 2018 to December 2019, Christina held the position of Director of Recognition Programs at NCQA. In January 2020, they became the Director of Product Management for the company and remained in that role until November 2021. Currently, Christina is the Director of the Quality Solutions Group at NCQA, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to their time at NCQA, Christina worked as a Program Associate at the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) from May 2006 to November 2008.

Christina Borden obtained a B.A. degree in Political Science and Medical Humanities from Davidson College between 2002 and 2006. Christina completed their high school education at Albuquerque Academy from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Christina has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2020, PMC Level III from Pragmatic Institute in 2019, and Leadership Development Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2017. Christina also holds a PCMH CCE certification from NCQA, although the specific year of obtaining it is unknown.
