Jake Darlington has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jake started their career as a Strategic Marketing Intern at Scripps Networks Interactive Inc., where they analyzed audience and rating data to develop strategies for increasing network ratings. Jake then interned as a Web Advertising Intern at Volunteer Traditions Inc., optimizing Google Adwords and implementing ecommerce conversion tracking to increase ad-driven revenue.
In 2014, Jake joined EY as a Performance Improvement Intern, where they developed a data-flow system to streamline internal audits for a utilities company and analyzed employee expense and vendor data to ensure financial integrity. Jake also built Visual Studio processes and Tableau dashboards for a chemical company to streamline their internal audit process.
Jake continued at EY and became a Performance Improvement Consultant, creating analysis tools in R and Tableau for a global chemical manufacturer to uncover supply chain performance drivers. Jake also facilitated the migration of an analytics suite into the client's data environment and drove its adoption across the organization.
Jake later advanced to the role of Performance Improvement Senior Consultant at EY, where they coordinated digital initiatives for a Fortune 500 payroll company and implemented a smart building IoT data management platform for a Fortune 100 oil and gas company. Jake also led and coached a client team in statistical demand forecasting for a global chemical manufacturer.
In 2019, Jake was promoted to Manager at EY, leading a team to identify and implement data-driven maintenance optimization opportunities for a federal agency serving over 67 million domestic customers. Jake piloted a predictive maintenance model on IoT data that forecasted asset failures with high accuracy. Jake also played a key role in developing EY's software solution for digital asset management, resulting in substantial sales and a strong sales pipeline.
Currently, Jake serves as the Director of Business Intelligence at the National Christian Foundation.
Jake Darlington holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Analytics with a concentration in Marketing from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Jake also has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Business Analytics with an emphasis in Supply Chain from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, Jake has obtained various certifications including the DAF Specialist certification from the DAF Giving Summit in December 2022, Google Adwords Certification from Google in November 2013, and the University of Tennessee Bloomberg Master certification from the University of Tennessee in April 2013.
