Nicholas Nicassio is an accomplished conductor and music director with extensive experience in various musical organizations. Currently serving as the Conductor for Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale and Music Director at Saint Saviour Church Brooklyn since 2019, Nicassio also holds the position of Principal Conductor & Artistic Coordinator at National Children's Chorus since 2011. Notably, Nicassio worked as Film Composer for Shooting Star Creativeworks LLC from 2013 until June 2023 and was the Music Director at Playgroup Theater from 2009 to 2016. A former tenor with Los Angeles Opera Chorus from 2001 to 2008, Nicassio holds a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from Manhattan School of Music, a Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from UC Irvine.
